In 2018, after the painful, unexpected ending of my marriage, I returned to England to live full time in 'Kingfisher Cottage'. The 1850 terrace house is less than a minute walk to a 400-acre nature reserve with three lakes and the meandering River Tame. I had the roof raised to turn the attic into a spacious studio and turned the grass lawn into a perennial flower garden. The country park and my garden have inspired many of my paintings.
